Oktoberfest Madness

So, this is the dedication of a student in Berlin. I am waking up at 3 am (as in a little over 4 hours) to get to the train station by 6 to board a train for Munich. I will arrive in Munich a little after 4 pm and leave the next day around 10ish. Why am I doing such a crazy thing? Because that's what we do. A college student simply cannot miss Oktoberfest in Germany. At least we got a hostel, unlike most of our unlucky friends who will be sleeping on the streets. It's craziness. Total and completely craziness....but, well, when in Germany....maybe I'll finally find a hot german man. If not, there's always the Croatians...

So ummmm...

So I have officially been in Berlin for 9 days. This has been the craziest semester yet. Most of the people in this program are really cool and I already have a bunch of people that I love hanging out with. We have to take 12 hours of german language a week, which kinda sucks because AU's only giving us 6 credit hours for it. Actually, funny story. Originally we were only supposed to take 10 hours a week, but then the German government gave us more money, therefore we have to go to school longer. Sigh...that's really going to cut into my drinking time...
Still no hot german men to report on, but well, it's still early in the trip.....
